THE FACES BEHIND THE NEW UPDATES

I’m so excited right now that I’m jumping for joy as we speak! I feel like it’s Sunday morning and I have nothing to do except to sit down at the beach and eat a big stack of french toast. Ok let me get back to reality. As you all might have noticed, I have a blogsite like so many others. If you’re unfamiliar with a blogsite, it’s exactly what it sounds like, a blog and a website all in one. I always felt it’s great to just come to one spot and find everything organized in one place. But who knows what the future holds for me, I just might have a website back again in the near future, we’ll see though.

For the time being, I had an empty home for briankhang.com since removing my website. It came to me that the only thing missing from having a blogsite, is to have a home page or in my case a map to my site taking you to all the places you need to go. Kind of like a tourist map when you go on vacation to a new place or a tourist trolley taking you to all the places you should go. Ok maybe those are bad examples, but you get the idea.

So now when you visit www.briankhang.com you will see what you see below. For the longest time I thought I was the only one burning the midnight oil and working at my desk until I literally pass out in my computer chair, but I was wrong.

The guys over at ToFurious were the brains behind this whole thing and I can’t thank them enough for spending many sleepless nights helping me. They were so accommodating with my questions and really easy to work with, so thanks guys! So if anyone out there is looking for something totally custom to spice up your site or maybe you need help with SEO, those guys are the ones to see! Contact Lawrence tofulawrence@gmail.com and he’ll give you more information.

This will be a long post, so I should have said that in the beginning. Anyhow, many of you have asked me who was behind making the header which is above my site? You know, the one with the mini movie clip of yours truly. That flash magical genius was done by the one and only Sandors Design. They did an awesome job customizing my thoughts into reality. They can do graphic and web designs as well as making anything into flash. Contact Sandor for more information.

MIA AND LOVING IT!

As you can read by the title, it’s not what you think. I haven’t blogged in a few days and it’s great to be MIA for a bit. I was away working on a few new things for my site, which I will be sharing soon, a commercial shoot and a very awesome wedding Saturday, which was filled with all the usual details, friends and a very special classic car. I will be sharing that wedding with you shortly! So this is just a quick post so you know what I’ve been up to. And because my words are the most boringest thing you’ll experience since Monday’s, here’s a sneak peek from Saturday’s wedding.

MICHAEL & STACEY ENGAGED

Maybe I’m speaking for myself here, but as a former single guy, the only thing I ever asked for on my birthday, was for my best friend to bring my future wife to my birthday party. Was that to much to ask for? Ok so that never worked out for me and I’m glad! But for Michael, ask and you shall receive! Michael’s friend was dating Stacey’s friend and to make a long story short, they met at Michael’s birthday party through their friends and the rest is history.

This past weekend, I headed up to LA to meet up with Michael and Stacey. The day was perfect! Great weather in LA, non-crowded streets and extra daylight! What more can a photographer ask for? Besides hanging out with such a fun and down to earth couple of course. Their wedding will be in LA in May and I’m looking forward to it. Thanks again guys for the food experience at The Farmers Market and giving us a tour of LA.

this little puppy stopped by to say hi and wanted his picture taken apparently

WILD FLOWERS AND THE NIGHT SKY

I just wanted to share with you some photos from my hike here in my neighborhood. I definitely need to get out more and stretch my legs.

MY IPHONE GALLERY

I love technology, don’t you? I’m always checking out the latest and greatest thing out and seeing how I can use it. For example, my iPhone. Yes I know I talk about this thing all the time, I can hear the 5 year old in me saying “Why don’t you marry it then..” I’m always taking pictures with my iPhone.  I think the camera they built isn’t the best quality, but it’s pretty darn good! And whenever I take a picture, it goes straight to my iPhone gallery for the world to see. Oh, you didn’t know I had an iPhone gallery? Well now you know. Just click HERE to check it out and you can also subscribe via RSS or iPhoto. There’s also a link for it, in the links tab up top. I figured this is at least something I can do with all of these iPhone photos I have. Oh yeah and I’m always taking pictures of food, so if you’re hungry don’t enter!
