A MIDSUMMER DAYS DREAM PICNIC : FILM PHOTOS

Back in July, yes I know I’m a bit behind on blogging this, but for good reason. Friends gathered together for a picnic which was hosted by Bonnie Tsang, Kelley Gin from Picture Perfect Events, the ladies of Utterly Engaged and Carissa from JL Designs and Events. I decided that day, that I was going to photograph the event completely in film. There’s something about gatherings, food, friends and picnics that makes me think about the good old days, when all we had was film. The hostesses didn’t leave us with nothing to do, they planned a bunch of games and activities for us all, including a water ballon toss and baby bottle drinking contest.

All of the photos below were photographed on my old Canon AE-1 and Canon EOS-1. Thanks to Richard Photo Lab who developed the photos, they always do an awesome job! Oh and I didn’t retouch or photoshop the photos below. That’s the beauty of a good lab and shooting film!
