On this day, I’m so proud. So proud to be able to vote and have a voice in our country. So proud to finally see change in our nation. So proud that we elected President Elect Barack Obama to be our leader and so proud for a new beginning, in what seemed to be an on going loop of bad news. I was really impressed by John McCain’s humble speech, which really reminded us and kept us focus on what the real matter at hand is and to join together as a nation for a common cause. But I must say that President Elect Barack Obama’s words moved many including myself. I’m really looking forward to the next several years to see if our voices had made an impact on our lives. Till then, we’re all waiting. I’m so proud to be an American today!
