<p>When a dear friend of ours approached me to photograph her grandparents for their wedding anniversary, I thought it was a great idea!  But when I found out that these photos would be their 1st wedding photos, I just couldn&#8217;t believe it!  But then again, I realized how difficult it may have been to have wedding photos taken when and where they were living at that time.</p>
<p>After 55 years of being married together, they still make each other laugh and at that moment of photographing them, that was all that really mattered.  Love and laughter is truly an amazing gift to give to another person you love so dearly.</p>

<p>I went on a personal photo safari in Santa Monica in January.  Although I&#8217;ve been there many times before, I always find something new to photograph.  This time I was playing around with Kodak&#8217;s Ektar 100 film.  This film is crazy contrasty!</p>
