This is probably the longest blog post to date for any wedding that I’ve photographed. But with good reason, since I was staying at the beautiful Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for 5 beautiful nights, there was a lot to photograph! Congrats again Vicki and Chad!

And yes, this was all photographed on beautiful film! Developed and scanned by the amazing people over at Richard Photo Lab

So the first thing that came to mind was, google it, because we had no idea where it was. Not realizing that it was literally down the street from where we parked! So we headed down to checkout what everyone was talking about and I must say, although it was at the end of the day and we couldn’t really get the full tour, the area with all the mansions was pretty impressive! Some mansions were still occupied to this day too! Which must be strange now that I think about it, to have random strangers take pictures of your house. But I’m sure they’re used to it by now.

I always feel right at home in New England when I wanna dress it up and wear my bowties and seer suckers. I kinda laugh at myself though, thinking that I lived in New England all of those 20 some-odd years and never really played the tourist card and explored. It’s funny now that when I come back to my home town of Connecticut, I wanna see it all! And eat it all!

I decided to capture most of my travel photos back East on film. All of my film was of course developed at Richard Photo Lab. They are just so amazing at what they do. I absolutely did nothing on these photos, besides just shoot them.
