“Where are we?” seemed to be the word of the day or was it “No dogs allowed?” Christina and James added a new little one to their family and decided it was time for some updated family photos. When I say little one, I’m referring to their puppy Roma of course. Oh and you’ll probably recognize Christina, coordinator extraordinaire from Simply Modern Weddings. I’ve seen this girl in action at a wedding and she does a fabulous job!
Getting back to their session. When I spoke to Christina about a location, she told me she wanted something with nature and tall yellow grass. I was thinking this isn’t the midwest and how the heck do I find a spot like that? Lucky for us, Orange County has plenty of parks and locations with exactly what we were looking for. After shooting at the 1st location though, we were quickly told that there were NO dogs allowed. That definitely left us with a look of confusion on our faces as what to do next. That’s where plan B comes into play. You always need a plan B! So after much hiking, walking and exploring, we headed over to our plan B spot and finished the day with some beautiful afternoon sunset. Christina, James and Roma, thanks for spending the afternoon with me and being so adventurous and fun! Now on to my favorites from their session.
I’m sure when these 2 really have their first little one, he or she is gonna get some good genes!
Roma was on security patrol all day.

We had to make sure their little girl Roma had some photos too.

See what I mean? Good genes!
These next 2 photos are my favorite!

They really had to work for this photo by climbing up a hill, but I think it was worth it.

Brian Khang - Thanks everyone! and they didn’t allow dogs, because apparently people come to the parks to look at wildlife, so the wildlife won’t come if they smell dogs. I guess that makes sense.
