MEGAN AND YAOJEN

I’m so excited to finally share photos from the wedding that I photographed in Maui, with my good friend Aaron Dieppa and his lovely couple, Megan and Yaojen. I was also very excited to finally visit Hawaii, as it was my first time ever there! And I have to say that Maui is one of my new favorite places! The food is amazing and not to mention the beautiful scenery and incredible weather! But let’s get back to Megan and Yaojen’s wedding. You’ll see from the photos, but with the weather in Maui, you just never know if it’s going to rain. It looked as if it was going to that day, but somehow the sun came out just in time for sunset and the skies were so gorgeous to photograph!

One of my favorite details from the day was Megan’s custom made wedding dress, which the bottom of the dress was detachable. She transformed the dress during the reception to surprise Yaojen with a special hula dance! One other detail that still is fresh in my mind, was Megan’s father. He was completely emotional that day and you can certainly see how proud and loved Megan is by her parents. I know that maybe someday if I were to have a daughter, I would be the same too on her wedding day.
