Happy Valentines Day Everyone! As you can see, I haven’t updated my blog in a few days. It’s not that I didn’t want to, but my parents internet / network here in Houston hasn’t been working and finally today, I got it running. I felt so disconnected from the world. Thank goodness for my iPhone, but Edge speed was killing me. Yup, there wasn’t even any 3g here. Oh and I discovered I have allergies in Houston too.
So where have I been, what have I been doing? Funny you ask that, it’s been raining here and I swear that every time I’m in Houston, it seems to rain. Maybe it’s just my luck. On this trip to Houston, I planned a mini-get together with some local photographers from the [b] school and it was so great chatting, chowing down on BBQ and converting my you all to y’alls. I’m starting to like my Texan lingo. I also tried to do a photo safari while out here, but it was cancelled due to what else? rain.
In a few days I’ll be heading to Vegas to join the many photographers for WPPI and I’m really looking forward to that. I also have a ton of pictures from the field trip out in the “Salton Sea” which I’ll probably share with “y’all” when I get back home, since my laptop isn’t the fastest at editing photos.
