365 | 2011

Happy New Year everyone! And I’m back! Fresh from being out of the office this past week, just celebrating, reflecting on 2010 and contemplating my goals for 2011. I’m so excited for this year, because I finally get to start a side project just for myself. In the past 2 years, I’ve made countless excuses on why I didn’t ever start my “Photo a day project” or “365 photo project”. You can certainly understand that my clients always comes first and that was the main reason why. But this year I am going to also make the time for myself and start my photo a day project.

Now here’s the deal, I’ll be traveling a lot this year and seeing a lot of new things, so that’s what I mainly want to document. And of course I’ll also just be photographing things from my daily life that I see or do. One other sick twist to this whole thing is that I’m disciplining myself to use ONLY my SLR or my big camera for every photo. That means this thing is coming with me everywhere I go! Trust me when I say that’s not an easy task. Sure my iPhone or point and shoot will do, but I plan on doing something with these photos at the end of the year, I hope.

Also, you might notice a different style of editing or photographing style during my project, but don’t fear, I’m just letting all of my rules go out the window and running with it. Anything goes with this project!

And if anyone else is doing a similar project this year, comment with your link below and I’d love to follow along with you as well! So without further delays, I would like to present you with my 365 project for 2011! CLICK HERE.

And as a side note, you can also RSS my project inside the gallery!

GOODBYE 2010!

Wow! Have I not blogged in over 2 weeks? I’m sure you all know how it is around the Holiday time. But I’m back briefly just to say goodbye to 2010. It’s been such an amazing year, filled with so many unexpected surprises and I’m so grateful to all of my clients / friends, who have supported me doing the thing I love to do the most, photographing weddings. And I can’t leave out my silent blog followers who visits my blog often, hopefully. So thank you for your support as well! I’m leaving 2010 feeling accomplished. I set high goals for myself, some I’ve hit and some I haven’t, but that’s life for you. We can’t all be perfect. But that’s why we have another year to do it all again and do it better!

There will be some big changes in 2011 that I’m really excited for and I’m looking forward to sharing that with you all soon! I also have a few wedding blog posts to share, that will be coming in the New Year.

Helen and I wish you all a wonderful New Years and we’ll see you all in 2011! Cheers!
