Well it’s been a long time friends. As you can see, I haven’t blogged since February. But this nice long blog-vacation has done me some good! I had time to recollect my thoughts for this year, traveled a bit and now we welcomed the newest member into our family, Hayden. My brother’s new daughter and my niece. She’s so adorable and I’m not just saying that because I’m biased. Well ok I am. I just can’t wait for her to grow up and hear what she sounds like and looks like. It blows my mind sometimes just thinking about how my brother and I not too long ago were kids our selfs and were sitting around watching cartoons and eating cereal on Saturday morning. And now he has a child. Life is just amazing! Well, I have so much more to share this coming week, but for now, here’s some photos of my precious niece Hayden a few hours after she was born. Congratulations again guys!
Rehearsal Dinner : El Taj, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
Sunrise Shoot : Ceiba del Mar Beach and Spa Resort, Riviera Maya Cancun, Mexico
Ceremony Venue : Blue Cacao Beach Club
Reception Venue : Blue Cacao Beach Club
I had such a great time in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, photographing a lovely wedding with my good friend Aaron Dieppa and his lovely couple Linda and Jeff. You just can’t beat Mexico, with it’s amazing weather, beautiful water and friendly people. We started photographing Linda and Jeff’s wedding, with their rehearsal dinner on the rooftop of the El Taj Beachside Condo Hotel. The following day, we photographed Linda and Jeff’s sunrise photos at the beautiful Ceiba del Mar Beach and Spa Resort, followed by their wedding at the Blue Cacao Beach Club, which they rented the entire resort for their day. The evening was filled with wonderful music, food and surprise fire dancers on the beach. The night ended with family and friends dancing in the pool, it was such a great time!

Happy New Year everyone! And I’m back! Fresh from being out of the office this past week, just celebrating, reflecting on 2010 and contemplating my goals for 2011. I’m so excited for this year, because I finally get to start a side project just for myself. In the past 2 years, I’ve made countless excuses on why I didn’t ever start my “Photo a day project” or “365 photo project”. You can certainly understand that my clients always comes first and that was the main reason why. But this year I am going to also make the time for myself and start my photo a day project.
Now here’s the deal, I’ll be traveling a lot this year and seeing a lot of new things, so that’s what I mainly want to document. And of course I’ll also just be photographing things from my daily life that I see or do. One other sick twist to this whole thing is that I’m disciplining myself to use ONLY my SLR or my big camera for every photo. That means this thing is coming with me everywhere I go! Trust me when I say that’s not an easy task. Sure my iPhone or point and shoot will do, but I plan on doing something with these photos at the end of the year, I hope.
Also, you might notice a different style of editing or photographing style during my project, but don’t fear, I’m just letting all of my rules go out the window and running with it. Anything goes with this project!
And if anyone else is doing a similar project this year, comment with your link below and I’d love to follow along with you as well! So without further delays, I would like to present you with my 365 project for 2011! CLICK HERE.

And as a side note, you can also RSS my project inside the gallery!
