I met Vicki and Chad a few years ago through close friends of mine and I’m so excited that finally, they recently became engaged! And I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next year in Punta Cana! We met down at Paradise Cove in Malibu for their engagement photos. Besides a very windy day, It was beautiful nonetheless, with a near empty beach. What more could you ask for?
When I spoke with Tina and Derek about their engagement session, New York was a far thought that crossed either of our minds. But as we talked more about it more, I’d happen to be in Connecticut during that time, so they thought, why not take a flight out there as well, have fun in NY for the weekend and take engagement photos there. The words I was waiting to hear! So we met up in NY around the Central Park area to take photos. I just love NY. I’m not sure why I never explored it as much while living in Connecticut. The food, the shopping, the exciting city life. I could go on and on. But getting back to their engagement session, we had the most beautiful day that day. It had been cloudy and thoughts of rain were in the forecast, but somehow we ended up with partly cloudy weather, with the sun occasionally peeking through. Which meant it was warm, then cold, then warm, then cold. That’s New England weather for you! But we all had such a great time and ended up having a lovely Thai dinner and dessert in NY. After all this fun, I’m definitely looking forward to photographing their wedding in October!

What better way to start 2011 with a lovely wedding at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast. Chris and Vincent were married recently at one of my favorite places in Orange County. The first time I met Chris and Vincent was actually the day before their wedding, as they live in New York City and had family in Orange County. The day was simple beautiful and Chris’s Vera Wang dress was just amazing how it moved with the flowy ruffles! They danced the night away to the live music from Undercover and was sent off with ribbons and bubbles, as they escaped into the night in their Corvette. A special thanks to Katie Lee of Bella Destinee and her team for doing such a phenomenal job keeping the day running smoothly and Kelly Zhang for the lovely hair and makeup! And to Chris and Vincent, I wish you both nothing but continued happiness. Congratulations again!
