This past Saturday I joined Jeremy to shoot Hans & Blanca’s wedding. As I mentioned in the previous sneak peek, it was a beautiful wedding, but challenging. The ceremony was held at the Pilgrim Congregational Church, which was dark inside and we couldn’t use any flash. I knew as soon as I drove to the church and it started to rain, what kind of day it would be. But rain happens and I think it’s just as beautiful to have a wedding on a rainy day. We then headed over to the Richard Nixon Library where it was absolutely beautiful inside. The details and colors of the wedding really gave it a romantic feel. Now on to my favorites from the day.

Checkout the sneak peek post if you want the specs on this shot in the church. Luckily I had my trusty monopod that day.

Married!

Some details of the bridesmaids dresses and flowers.

After I shot these kids, they asked in their little voices, “Can I see the photo?” I guess they get their picture taken all the time.

Here is the groom giving me his best model pose.

And his boys tell him he did a good job.

I just love this shot of the bride leaving the church.

I really just wanted to do Black & Whites for the photos this time. It fit well with the mood of the day.

Some of the amazing details that day.

Blanca’s sister had an amazing voice and sang their first dance song. It was so great.

We went out after to play around with some lights and these ended up being my favorites from the day.
