UPDATE VIDEO STYLE
Where has the time gone? It’s almost the end of November and I am about ready to head back East for 2 weeks. This is just a quick video update and I plan on doing a few more videos of my travels in the next few days. See you all then!
Amy-Love the new videos you’re doing! The escalator one was pretty funny!
Matthew Saville-I like how you roll! Affordable primes and non-gripped bodies. Exactly my style…
Good luck dude!
=Matt=
Brian Khang -Definitely.. nothing is better than that!
rustin cerveny-We are heading back to the east coast on Thursday for 2 weeks also. We are hitting up MD, OH, and PA. Great choice on the gear you are taking with you!
Brian Khang -Nice Rustin, are you taking the little one too? I heard it’s cold back East, so dress warm!
Brittany-Hey Brian! I have some free time at work so I’m catching up on your blog. Just watched the video. Lucky you with 80 degrees and higher. Our record lows for this time of year will be greating you when you get back east! It was 25 this morning and all the pretty fall leaves are gone
Brian Khang -Sound like you have a fun job Brittany, are they hiring? I know, we just landed and my feet felt really cold for once. Darn, I’ll keep any eye out for some fall colors.
Joanna Garcia-Hey Brian! Great way to keep up!
Questions: What video camera do you use, software to edit and then to publish on your blog.
Thanks for the insight!
Brian Khang -Hi Joanna, I film all my stuff with my Canon G7 point and shoot at the highest resolution 1024 and I edit the video quickly using iMovie.
maly willis -hi, i’m a big fan of yours. i am just a photographer want to be someday and love and appreciate that you share with us some of your talents. thanks for explaining the type of camera you use since i am shopping for one and would love to know your thoughts on the best one out there. i want a camera that is easy to use but at the same time i want to be able to expand and have many more creative use out of them when i get better.
ps. what nationality are you? i’m lao. and grew up in boston. great to hear that you grew up back east.
Brian Khang -Hi Maly and thanks for following my blog. If you’re just starting out I would recommend getting the Canon Rebel XSi. You can find it in “My Camera Bag” link on top. It’s a great starting place until you have out grown the camera and feel ready to upgrade. I would not recommend getting the lens that comes with the Rebel. Just purchase the body by it self and purchase any lens you wish after that. Good luck! Oh and I am half Chinese and half Vietnamese.
fu -hi brian,
luv the videoblogs. what program do you use to post the videos? or do you use sites like youtube, or viddler?
Brian Khang -I’m using bliptv right now to host my videos.
